It’s not been a great week in Singapore – with a partial lock down announced for a month and a record new cases in a day yesterday.
Nevertheless, UOTW will still continue!
This week, we’ve found a rare strata semi-d house as well as a conservation home in the East.

1Verdure @ Holland Park
$4,980,000
| Project | Verdure @ Holland Park | District | 10 |
| Address | 55 Holland Road | Tenure | Freehold |
| Size | 3,600 sqft | $PSF | $1,383.33 |
| Developer | Bukit Sembawang Estate Ltd | TOP | 2014 |
Why I like it
For most people looking for the space of a landed home but with facilities , their first option is to look for cluster housing. While it is the best of both worlds, cluster housing tends to have quite limited offerings facilities wise. Which is why this semi-d located in Verdure caught my eye.
At 3,600 square feet of space, it offers 5 bedrooms, wet and dry kitchen, plus a roof terrace with jacuzzi. The best part? It has a proper gym and swimming pool too.
– Ryan

2Langston Ville
$1,500,000
| Project | Langston Ville | District | 09 |
| Address | 15 Kim Yam Road | Tenure | 999 years |
| Size | 939 sqft | $PSF | $1,597.44 |
| Developer | Guan Qian Realty Pte Ltd | TOP | 1999 |
Why I like it
Most people would probably have not heard of this development let alone know the location of it. It may not be the prettiest of buildings of offer the best facilities, but if the lifestyle and convenience of living close to Robertson Quay appeals to you then this will probably be one of the cheaper entry points.
– Druce

3The Glacier
$1,818,000
| Project | The Glacier | District | 15 |
| Address | 260 Joo Chiat Place | Tenure | Freehold |
| Size | 1,700 sqft | $PSF | $1,069.41 |
| Developer | Vanfong | TOP | 2005 |
Why I like it
Situated in District 15, this apartment doesn’t offer the much vaunted sea views but it does have a trick up its sleeve. With an air-conditioned roof terrace it is something that is quite unique.
It is freehold after all, with only 40 units and with a private lift access as well you do get quite private living here.
– Reuben

4The Luxurie
$1,380,000
| Project | The Luxurie | District | 19 |
| Address | 21 Compassvale Road | Tenure | 99 year |
| Size | 1,690 sqft | $PSF | $816.57 |
| Developer | Keppel Land Realty Pte Ltd | TOP | 2015 |
Why I like it
This Luxurie condo is a ground floor unit that has its own special private pool right at your doorstep – or rather, right at your open terrace. If you were to just compare its asking price directly based on PSF, it is even cheaper than the upcoming Ola EC.
It’s not just about the lifestyle as well, it is super close to Sengkang MRT so it scores highly on connectivity too.
– Stanley

5Geylang Conservation House
$1,880,001
| Project | Geylang | District | 14 |
| Address | Geylang Road | Tenure | Freehold |
| Size | 1,679 sqft | $PSF | $1,119.71 |
| Developer | – | TOP | – |
Why I like it
There’s just a certain charm of heritage shophouses that is hard to put to words. Conservation houses are rare to come by, and this one situated at Geylang is close to lots of good food, walkable to Aljunied MRT and is renovated really nicely as well.
To put the icing on the cake, it is freehold too!
