For Spanish Village, Farrer Road MRT is not next to City Square Mall. That’s Farrer Park MRT which is quite some distance away.

Under Spanish Village, paragraph 2, I do believe that Farrer Road MRT and Farrer Park are distinctly two different places, thus Farrer Road MRT isn’t next or near to City Square Mall which is located within the Little India area and not along Farrer Road.

Also “Farrer Road MRT is itself next to City Square Mall, so day-to-day amenities are easily met.” The closest MRT station to Spanish Village is indeed Farrer Road MRT but Farrer Road MRT is nowhere near City Square Mall. That’s Farrer Park MRT.
