Why I like it
Westwood Residences is an Executive Condominium located in District 22 around the Boon Lay and Jurong neighbourhood that has recently hit its MOP.
Its layout has a decent size of 1,034 square feet with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a good-sized living area and a home shelter (which can come in handy for storage). Additionally, it has a laundry yard and WC, which would be useful for families that are living with a helper.
What makes this unit special is definitely the fact that it has two balconies which can be found in the living area and master bedroom. The balcony is also quite spacious, which the previous owners used to set up their home gym.
Those that enjoy bright homes will also appreciate the floor-to-ceiling windows found in every room and living area. On the same note, the unit has a white theme to further brighten up and create a bigger space, making the living spaces bright and windy. Considering that this unit has recently reached its MOP, its condition looks ready to move in, which can be a huge cost saver for renovations.
Although this unit is located on the middle floor, it still offers great unblocked views of the Cleantech Park from most parts of the apartment. Furthermore, it’s located near the landed enclave of Westwood to give a dynamic combination of a green and low-rise skyline.

Why I like it
Located on a high floor within a walking distance to Bukit Batok Nature Park, this unit in Parkview Apartments offers generous pockets of green views, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Those who like living in a quaint and serene neighbourhood would take a liking to this unit. It is currently next to a forested area, but this is zoned as a reserve site under the URA Master Plan so you should note this wouldn’t be around forever.
At 1,119 square feet, it has three good-sized bedrooms, a spacious living area and a combination of a store room, yard and WC, making it functional and liveable for a family. All three of the bedrooms are able to comfortably fit a double bed, wardrobe and study desk.
The master bedroom is big enough to fit a bathtub and has a separate shower area, which is not very common in the units that we see today.
On top of the abundance of greenery in the surrounding neighbourhood, Parkview Apartments overlook the landed enclave of Burgundy Crescent, giving it a dynamic skyline of both green and low-rise living.
Currently, the nearest MRT station is located at a 1.5km walk away at Bukit Batok Station (North-South line), though the nearest bus stop is located less than 150m walk away.

Why I like it
At 1,076 square feet, this unit in Hougang has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a good-sized living area and a utility room that makes it a suitable option for families. It’s also located on a high floor away from any direct afternoon sun, making the space windy and well-shaded.
To further brighten up the space, there are several floor-to-ceiling windows to allow more natural light to filter into the common areas. The combination of white-painted walls, light-coloured flooring and an open kitchen does a great job of further opening up the space and creating a bright ambience.
The previous owners did a great job at designing their home and this will definitely benefit the next owners. Its walls, flooring and kitchen area are tastefully designed, especially with the choice of Peranakan tiles. It beautifully demarcates the kitchen from the living area and adds a nice pop of colour and character to the space.
In terms of its location, it’s located directly opposite Hougang 1, which has plenty of dining options and a FairPrice to do any grocery shopping. Alternatively, Ci Yuan Hawker Centre is located around a 10-minute walk away for more variety of local delights.
Hougang MRT Station (North-East line) is around a 1.7km walk away so it isn’t near, though residents can opt to take the bus, which is less than 150m away from the condo.
Last but not least, the variety of schools within the neighbourhood may appeal to many young families. Rosyth School, Hougang Secondary School and Bowen Secondary School are located within a walking distance away.

Why I like it
Originally a three bedroom + study layout, this unit in The Visionaire is 980 square feet and comes with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious balcony and a unique kitchen cum living space layout.
The kitchen is located right behind the living area, and those who are serious about heavy cooking can choose to enclose the space with glass panels since the kitchen does have its own windows for ventilation.
Taking a look at the space, the master bedroom does feel more spacious as compared to the standard that we see today. This is because the previous owners have converted one of the bedrooms into a walk-in closet, though it can be easily switched back depending on the future owner’s needs.
While there was a small study alcove next to the dining area, the previous owners chose to have it opened up to create a bigger living space. Future homeowners can choose to retain the spacious living area or carve out a space for a study.
As The Visionaire has recently reached MOP, the space is considered to be well-maintained and move-in friendly.
The nearest MRT station is located at Canberra (North-South line) around 550m away, though residents can opt to take a bus that is located less than 100m from The Visionaire.

Why I like it

You will also find Jurong Point here, which has a lot of shops and dining options, and Jurong Central Park is a nice spot for those who are looking for more recreational activities.
For those looking for affordable local food and grocery shopping options, Boon Lay Place Market and Food Village are located a brisk 400m walk away. Alternatively, residents can also choose to head to Boon Lay Shopping Centre, which is located right behind the market.
There are also many schools within the vicinity, making it great for families. Some schools include River Valley High School, Boon Lay Garden Primary School and Rulang Primary School.
