In this week’s episode, Marvyn and Joy, a marketing duo, showcase their eclectic 4-room BTO flat in Kallang. They wanted a home that blends cosiness with an open layout for hosting.
Their 93-square-metre space features woody and white tones with pops of colour, dark wood vinyl flooring for contrast, and modular furniture to keep things flexible.

The living room stands out with its quirky Chapalang style, featuring a custom tile coffee table and a multifunctional sofa. A vinyl record corner and a mobile gaming trolley add personality, while vertical blinds filter natural light in interesting ways.

In the kitchen, curved elements and a quartz countertop create a consistent visual language, complete with a dedicated coffee corner for Marvyn.

A curved partition separates the living area from the bedrooms. The bathroom embraces raw, unfinished textures with stone tiles and minimal colours, while the bedroom is a cosy, sleep-focused space with blackout blinds and functional furniture.

Throughout their home, Marvyn and Joy have incorporated memories from their travels, local art, and customised items, making the space uniquely theirs.
