Inside A $60k Sleekly Renovated 5-Room HDB + EastGlen @ Canberra Tour
December 14, 2022
Canberra probably doesn’t inspire much excitement in you considering how new the neighbourhood in Sembawang is. Yet, it’s this newness that actually makes this pretty exciting! Termed a “Ghost Town” by Rice Media in a recently published article, Canberra is an up-and-coming neighbourhood that saw an MRT as well as a shopping mall (Canberra Plaza) built in recent years, breathing new life into the area.
In this week’s Insider Tour, we check out EastGlen @ Canberra, an HDB that recently TOP-ed to check out what it offers residents here. There are only 310 units in total with a healthy mix of 3 to 5-room flats – pretty exclusive by HDB standards. It also boasts a carpark rooftop garden as well as a childcare centre. While it doesn’t have its own commercial outlets, it is close to an eating house as well as a Sheng Siong Supermarket just a few minutes away by foot.
We also have the privilege of checking out what a 5-room flat here looks like, so be sure to stay on to check out the flat!
Special thanks to the homeowners for allowing us into their beautiful home!
