It’s that time of the week again, and this week we have another roundup of cool properties to show off.
A special one is located at Somerset – where each level features only one unit – but it’s actually two units joined together.
Sounds confusing? We were too when we first found out about it, read on to find out more.

1Robertson Blue
$3,600,000
| Project | Robertson Blue | District | 09 |
| Address | 88 Robertson Quay | Tenure | Freehold |
| Size | 1,819 sqft | $PSF | $1,979.11 |
| Developer | HPL Investments Pte Ltd | TOP | 2006 |
Why I like it
Is it any surprise that I’ve chosen another Robertson Quay unit again? This is a cool 2 bedroom penthouse for a young couple not looking to add any responsibilities any time soon (kids).
The view from your open patio overlooking the waterfront is quite spectacular – it will be quite a wonderful spot for an evening drink or a weekend barbecue with friends. I really like that spiral staircase too, it adds a ton of character to the place.
– Ryan

2Skypark @ Somerset
$5,600,000
| Project | Skypark @ Somerset | District | 09 |
| Address | 22 Saint Thomas Walk | Tenure | Freehold |
| Size | 3,197 sqft | $PSF | $1,751.64 |
| Developer | TG Development Pte Ltd | TOP | 2010 |
Why I like it
This is one of those lesser known condos in the River Valley precinct – not particularly surprising when you have neighbours like 8 St Thomas and the Trillium so nearby.
But where this one stands out is its unique layouts. It is just one unit per level, which is actually a 3 bedroom and 1 bedroom studio unit combined together (or you could separate them if you wanted). Sadly, for those having ideas of avoiding the ABSD with this, it does come with two title deeds.
There is also a nice big patio outside – supposedly this is common area but when you own the whole level you can practically treat it as yours. They call this landed living in the sky – quite an apt description!
– Druce

3The Plaza
$1,000,000
| Project | The Plaza | District | 07 |
| Address | 7500A Beach Road | Tenure | 99 years |
| Size | 678 sqft | $PSF | $1,474.93 |
| Developer | – | TOP | 1979 |
Why I like it
I think by now it is quite common knowledge that District 7 is the hottest district in Singapore to live in at the moment. So while prices are running away with the new launches like the M, and Midtown Bay, there are still more affordable options if you want to live in the convenience of the area.
Again, there are cheaper units available currently but this one at the Plaza stands out for its immaculate and modern furnishings.
– Reuben

4Holland Hill Lodge
$2,200,000
| Project | Holland Hill Lodge | District | 10 |
| Address | 5 Holland Hill | Tenure | Freehold |
| Size | 1,346 sqft | $PSF | $1,634.47 |
| Developer | – | TOP | 1998 |
Why I like it
This is one of those listings where you really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Yes the outside is dated, and not attractive looking, but the inside of this duplex apartment is where it counts.
It is a ground floor unit with a nice patio, and because you are on an elevated position you do get some sort of view. The apartment itself is quite nicely renovated – not ultra modern that’s for sure but it is a good base to work with – just minimal renovations would be needed.
– Stanley

5Seletar Park Residence
$1,350,000
| Project | Seletar Park Residence | District | 28 |
| Address | 19 Seletar Road | Tenure | 99 years |
| Size | 1,076 sqft | $PSF | $1,254.65 |
| Developer | Asplenium Land Pte Ltd | TOP | 2014 |
Why I like it
While I would have liked to find another interesting conservation house to make this 3 in a row, it was not to be this week.
Instead, I’ve found this interesting unit at Seletar Park Residence. It has a very modern facade which I do like, and the interior is done up really well. With its high ceilings, additional space has been created with a loft to create more space. The spiral staircase does add a touch of class to the place as well.
