Six more luxury apartments seized as part of the landmark money-laundering case in Singapore will go under the hammer later this month. At the upcoming property auction by SRI on Oct 28, the property agency will offer five ultra-luxury residences at Nouvel 18, as well as a four-bedroom unit at New Futura.
This comes after SRI and two other property agencies - Knight Frank and ETC - marketed and auctioned the first tranche of luxury units seized in the money-laundering case.
Previously, the units on auction were in luxury projects like Martin Modern, Wallich Residence, Gramercy Park, Sloane Residences, South Beach Residences, and 8 St Thomas.
In the end, only four condo units from that first tranche of properties were sold at auction - and SRI was the only successful auctioneer to achieve this: two units at Martin Modern, and two units at Wallich Residence.
The latest selection of luxury units to go under the hammer by SRI includes five units at Nouvel 18, a freehold development on Anderson Road that completed in 2014.
The units are two-bedroom + study units, three-bedroom + study units, and four-bedroom units. They range from 1,335 sq ft to 6,125 sq ft, with prices from $2,939 psf to $3,558 psf.
In general, the indicative prices are largely in line with recent resale transactions at the ultra-luxury project, with a 1,862 sq ft unit on the 25th floor sold for $6.6 million ($3,544 psf) in August this year, and a 1,335 sq ft unit on the 13th floor fetching $3.7 million ($2,772 psf) after it was sold in May 2026.
Located in the prestigious Ardmore Park area, Nouvel 18 is a short drive from the Orchard Road shopping belt, which is lined with an extensive selection of shopping, dining and lifestyle amenities.
The development is also surrounded by renowned educational institutions and embassies, with several landmark buildings in the vicinity such as Shangri-La Singapore, Le Nouvel Ardmore, Ardmore Park, and The Tanglin Club.

Meanwhile, only one unit at New Futura is being offered this time. The four-bedroom unit has a guide price of $9.8 million or $3,642 psf.
The 2,691 sq ft unit includes a strata void of 140 sq ft, but has a favourable layout that will appeal to families seeking a well-appointed residence in one of Singapore’s established prime residential districts.
New Futura is a highly exclusive development with just 124 units. Located along Leonie Hill Road, the development is also close to the Orchard Road shopping belt and its range of retail and amenities.
This could be a rare chance to snag a unit at this freehold development, which was completed in 2017. Very few resale units change hands at the luxury project, with just one sale this year: a 1,830 sq ft unit on the 27th floor that transacted for $7.5 million ($4,099 psf) in May this year.
So far, SRI is the only property agency that has announced a second auction of the seized properties. Its auction will take place at its office in Great World City on Oct 28 at 2:30pm.
A large number of spectators gathered to watch the first three auctions, and interest is still expected to be high although not at fever-pitch levels. This could be the right time for a buyer to step in decisively to secure a unit or two at this auction, especially since we don’t often see units at Nouvel 18 and New Futura on the market.
