Why I like it
For homeowners who are on the lookout for a family-friendly apartment in the East of Singapore, this 4-bedroom unit in Coco Palms could be a suitable choice for you. Sized at a decent 1,378 square feet, this is a top-floor unit that offers four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a good sized common living area and an open-concept kitchen that comes with a utility room.
While some might have varying opinions on having a long foyer, I think it’s a nice addition since it does give homeowners more privacy and an allocated spot to store their shoes, which goes a long way when you’re living with a big family. The wet and dry kitchen layout would also be helpful for most families since it offers more countertop space and a good way to keep fumes out when cooking. This apartment also comes with a utility room, which is a must-have for a 4-bedroom apartment.
In addition to the full-height windows, the landscape layout of the common living area is a great way to allow in more natural light into the space to make it feel more spacious.
Not only does it allow homeowners to enjoy the views, I think the long balcony that extends from the living room to one of the bedrooms is a unique way of making the apartment feel more circular and connected.
All common bedrooms are spacious enough to accommodate a queen-sized bed and built-in wardrobe with enough walking space left. One of the common bedrooms is also connected to the common bathroom with a jack-and-jill door, essentially making it an ensuite bedroom.
In terms of location, it’s a short 4-min walk to Pasir Ris MRT Station (East-West line), White Sands Mall and the upcoming Pasir Ris Mall. Alternatively, E!Hub and Pasir Ris Hawker Centre are other alternatives within a short walking distance for residents who like a variety of amenities. It’s also a short walk away from Pasir Ris Town Park, which is connected to Pair Ris Beach.
For young families, Elias Park Primary School is located right across Coco Palms. Other schools within close proximity include Park View Primary School, Meridian Primary School, Tampines-Meridian Junior College, Meridian Secondary School and Hai Sing Catholic School.

Why I like it
Located in Tampines, this 4-bedroom apartment in The Eden would be a practical option for families who want to enjoy good convenience and a functional home.
This apartment comes with four good-sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, a yard area and a homeshelter and is sized at 1,356 square feet. One thing that I appreciate about the layout is that most walls are hackable and the apartment can be configured according to future needs.
This unit enjoys a pool view and a private environment, with only two other neighbours sharing the same level.
Tampines East MRT Station (Downtown line) is a short 5-minute walk when walking under the neighbouring HDB blocks. There are plenty of amenities accessible right next to the development, including Tampines Mart which has a variety of food options, a Giant Supermarket and a wet market. Otherwise, residents can also choose to head to Tampines N2 Shopping Street, which has plenty of food options, too.
There are several schools nearby, including Ngee Ann Secondary School, Dunman Secondary School, East Spring Primary School, Yumin Primary School and Chongzheng Primary School.

Why I like it
Located in Serangoon, this unblocked corner unit has a size of 1,249 square feet and comes with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a utility room, a yard area and two balconies (which are located in the living room and the master bedroom).
Interestingly, the utility room can be accessed from the kitchen as well as the common hallway in the living room. The previous owners have also converted the fourth bedroom into a walk-in wardrobe and dressing room that adjoins the master bedroom, which can be easily reconfigured back to its original layout if desired.
From this block, the unit enjoys an unblocked view of the expressway in the North-East direction, which also means that exposure to afternoon sun is minimal. For me, one of the biggest draws is that this apartment has been recently renovated (and in quite a tasteful manner, too!) and is move-in friendly, which means that the next homeowners can save up a fair bit on renovation costs.
Walking under the neighbouring blocks would take residents of Forest Woods around a 4-minute walk to Serangoon MRT Station (North-East and Circle lines) and NEX, which has a wide array of food options and a FairPrice-Xtra for daily needs. Alternatively, there are also various eateries located in the shophouses across the street.
Since it overlooks the nearby landed enclave, residents get to enjoy a rather pleasant neighbourhood skyline, too.
Some schools nearby include St. Gabriels’ Secondary School, Zhonghua Secondary School, Yangzheng Primary School, Nanyang Junior College and St. Gabriel’s Primary School.

Why I like it
Located in the vibrant Bugis neighbourhood in central Singapore, this duplex penthouse apartment in Burlington Square is sized at a generous 2,147 square feet. It comes with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a yard area, a utility room, a spacious living and dining area, along with a roof terrace. For big families who want to live together yet still want to enjoy their privacy, the biggest draw would definitely be the dumbbell layout, along with the well-sized bedrooms (three of them are ensuite). Furthermore, all bedrooms have huge built-in wardrobes, which offer plenty of storage space.
Its central location allows residents to enjoy unblocked city views from every corner of the unit. That said, it’s a 1-minute walk to Rochor MRT (Downtown line) and Bugis MRT Station (East-West and Downtown line) is a short 6-minute walk away, too. Its location gives residents access to plenty of amenities within a short walking distance, with options ranging from shopping malls to wet markets.
Some schools nearby include Stamford Primary School, NAFA, LaSalle College Of The Arts, SOTA and SMU. Clearly, this isn’t the best for parents with young kids.

Why I like it
Nestled along the leafy Upper Thomson Road, this project is ideal for families who want to enjoy big verdant spaces and be near key amenities. This apartment is sized at 1,658 square feet with a dumbbell layout of four bedrooms (two of which are ensuite), three bathrooms, three balconies, a huge common area and a home shelter.
Notably, this unit comes with a private lift and lobby, which doubles up as extra storage space for the family. There’s also a home shelter, which is great to put away bulkier items.
As for the balconies, the main one in the living room spans across to cover the master bedroom and overlooks the pool area. There’s also another small balcony in the junior master bedroom and one of the common rooms, which is quite a nice touch for those who want to be more connected with the outdoors.
Thomson Grand overlooks the nearby landed enclave and is around a 5-minute walk to the recently launched Bright Hill MRT Station (Thomson-East Coast line).
Some schools within a 1-km radius include the renowned Ai Tong School and CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ School. Peirce Secondary School is located right across Thomson Grand.
