DETAILS

Introducing the first addition to INI CERAMIQUE’s 2024 collection, inspired by the iconic works of Giorgio Morandi. The ‘Morandi Pitcher – Black’ vase reinterprets the delicate balance between traditional and modern aesthetics through underglaze illustrations available in black or blue.

Each piece is meticulously crafted, with hand-applied underglazes before the initial firing. After a second firing at 1250°C, a transparent glaze is applied to the interior for enhanced durability. Subtle variations in decorative patterns and shapes highlight the artisanal craftsmanship of each vase.

ABOUT THE BRAND

INI CERAMIQUE

INI CERAMIQUE, founded by South Korean artist Inhee Ma and now based in France, offers a collection of handcrafted decorative ceramics. Her creations include vases, teapots, cups, bowls, and plates, all reflecting a minimalist wabi-sabi style and features hand-painted silhouette illustrations on her vases. Each piece is meticulously crafted in her French studio using chamotte stoneware and fired at high temperatures. The result is a beautiful contrast between a glossy, transparent glaze on the interior and a raw, textured exterior that highlights the natural qualities of the clay.
